Correspondence concerning the Temperance Spring at Bremo [manuscript], 1913-1958.

The collection contains a letter from John S. Mosby to "Miss Bettie" Cocke, 1913 November 10, concerning his presence at the July 4 1854 celebration at the Bremo spring. Mosby enquires whther she has seen Nancy Astor who is at Miramer and possible plans to visit the University of Virginia. He asks if she knew Woodrow Wilson when he was a student and notes he voted against him. The collection also contains correspondence of Francis L. Berkeley, Forney Johnston, and Dr. W. Cabell Moore concerning Mosby and the 1854 event.
